The district has been awarded the 21st Century Community Learning grant that will be used to implement a K-5 after school program next year! The program name is The Bobcat Academy and it will be held from 3:15-5:30 Monday- Thursday. Participating students will receive tutoring in academic areas, enrichment in art/music/physical activity, and be exposed to a variety of STEM projects/activities.
Thanks to everyone who completed the Family & Community Survey a few months ago because that helped us show the tremendous need for after school services for our kids. A special thank you to Dr. Lisa Geren, Mrs. Ashley Sharp, and Mrs. Christy Graham for their work on this project. This is an awesome opportunity for the students and the entire community!
