December 2nd is National Special Education Day, and it holds a special place in the hearts of educators and advocates alike. On this day in 1975, the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) was signed into law, reaffirming the importance of inclusive education for students with special needs.

#BobcatNation celebrates and appreciates our IT folks!
From NationalDayCalendar.com :
The IT (information technology) professional is the unsung hero of modern business. These under-appreciated wizzes tackle the obstacles that leave the rest of us scratching our heads. Whether it be desktops, laptops, mobile devices, applications, servers, networks, databases or cybersecurity, IT professionals keep business humming.

Did you know?
The signing of the United States Constitution was on September 17, 1787, and each year on September 17, Constitution Day is observed by the US Department of Education.

From the National Park Service:
For months following September 11, 2001, people came together to grieve family, friends, and strangers. More than 20 years later, we still do. Sometimes called “Patriots Day” or “Day of Remembrance”, September 11 has become an annual day for many Americans to remember, reflect, honor, and mourn.

Attention Families: There was a social media post two days ago related to a national snap-chat trend by a middle school student. District administration has investigated the post and situation and found it to be non-threatening. All students are safe at Berryville Schools.
