Let's welcome Amanda Briggs to Berryville! "I grew up in Harrison, Arkansas! I moved to Clarksville to attend college and graduated from the University of the Ozarks with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. In the future I will work to to earn a Master’s Degree in Special Education from an Online University. I worked at Room to Bloom Children’s Center for six years and taught Kindergarten through Sixth Grade Math at Arkansas Children’s University the past half year. I have one cat named Hippy and one dog named Jingle who have more energy than a room full of third graders! I can’t wait to spend the next year learning and growing with you!"

I graduated from Arkansas State Univeristy with a degree in Biology. My husband, Codie, and I have 3 wonderful kids and love spending time in the outdoors and with family. My time at Berryville as a student was very positively impacted by several teachers that I had. I can only hope I have the same effect. Let's have a great year!"

James Long is coming to Berryville from Russellville, AR. "I will be teaching Science and coaching football and baseball. Something fun about me is that I am a very high level Pickleball player. Outside of work, I love to spend time in the outdoors hiking, camping, and kayaking. My favorite thing in the world is Diet Dr Pepper!" Welcome to the Bobcat team, James!

Gracen Agent is joining the Bobcat staff. Welcome, Gracen! " I grew up in Van Buren, Arkansas but I went to the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma. I graduated in May with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Secondary Education. This upcoming school year, I will be teaching social studies at the high school. As of right now, it looks like it will be US History and Civics. US History was one of my favorite subjects in high school and I was able to carry on my studies of American History at TU through some of my history courses. I am super eager to get to teach this subject so soon! I am so excited to start this school year and to meet everyone! "

Hello! I'm Shelby Hicks, delighted to join the vibrant community here in Berryville, AR as a dedicated first grade teacher. Originally from Bauxite, AR, I bring seven years of teaching experience and a deep commitment to nurturing young minds. My journey began at Arkansas Christian Academy in Bryant, AR, where I taught first grade for four formative years. Returning to my roots in Bauxite, I spent three rewarding years in third and sixth grade honing my teaching skills and connecting with students on a profound level. Beyond the classroom, I find immense joy in spending time with my family and embracing the outdoors. Whether it's hiking scenic trails or simply enjoying God's creation, these moments rejuvenate and inspire me. Passionate about children's education, I believe every student deserves a nurturing environment where they can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. I look forward to collaborating with colleagues, parents, and the community to create enriching learning experiences for our students at Berryville School District.

Let's help the middle school welcome their new nurse, Ravyn Whitson! "I’m from Tahlequah, OK. I’ve lived in Berryville for two years. I will be a nurse at the Middle School. I’m married to my husband Chris and we have three daughters, Mallory, Aubrey, and Quinn. We raise Mini Aussie Doodles and Dachshund puppies, put on barrel racings and ropings, enjoy spending time with our family and friends, camping, and going to concerts. I’m looking forward to being part of the Bobcat family! "

The Berryville School District will provide students with school supplies. Families will only need to purchase organizational items such as backpacks or trapper keepers/binders. We are excited to introduce Jeb Willborg as a new teacher in Berryville! "I am from Mena, Arkansas, and will be teaching 8th grade Social Studies. I am married to Halli Willborg. She is completing her degree in Nursing this year. We love the outdoors and recently returned from a trip to Alaska. I am so excited to be a part of Berryville School District. "

Brad Atchley is excited to be back home so let's welcome him to the Bobcat staff! " I will be at the high school this year with Seniors and Freshmen in the English department. My wife will be in the Elementary school as well. My family keeps me beyond entertained, but when there is a spare moment I enjoy reading old science fiction and Gothic literature, Arkansas Razorback sports, Pittsburgh Steelers, St. Louis Cardinals, and yard work with my three-year old. I love helping students along as they discover their potential academically and in life. I am excited to begin this new chapter in my career in a familiar and beloved setting! "

Sarah Wages is coming to us from Witter, Arkansas. "This will be my first full year teaching. Last year I interned at Watson Primary in Huntsville then taught as the main teacher for the second semester. I am so excited to be teaching 8th grade math this year as math has always been a favorite subject of mine. I am a wife and a mother to the sweetest set of twins , Ruger and Aspen. My daughter competes in pageants and my boys love all things outdoors so we are usually pretty busy. I am very excited for the opportunity to teach in Berryville this year and cannot wait to have a wonderful year!" Welcome, Sarah.

"Hello! My name is Laraina Cenobio! I am from Green Forest but have been living in Memphis the past few years for school. I am super excited to return to Carroll County to teach Kindergarten at BES!
