The Bobcats are welcoming Auston and Katie Crow back to Berryville!
The Crow family has just moved back home after living in a remote village in Alaska for a year. They will join the first grade team at the elementary school where their daughter, Emma, will attend kindergarten. Auggie, their son, will be starting preschool in Berryville as well. “We are a very tight knit family and love spending time together! Teaching allows us many opportunities to go on adventures together and explore the world.” Hobbies include fishing and water sports, knife making and woodworking.
Auston said, “I believe I can relate to students from all walks of life. I strive to be a great male role model for my students, and I love to make learning FUN! I chose education to make a difference.”
Join us as we welcome the Crows back to Bobcat nation!

Julie Forthman, from Rose, Oklahoma, joins Berryville Elementary this year as a first grade teacher.
Mrs. Forthman has two grand-babies, Corbyn and Jackson. She enjoys writing, drawing, singing, and traveling. Mrs. Forthman enjoys being creative and working with children.
When asked for a fun fact about herself, she said, “I bought my first house two hours after I saw it and scared my father half to death because I didn’t let him check over it first!”
Join us in welcoming Julie Forthman to the Bobcat team!

All of our staff members will return to campus on Monday, August 7th! We will once again be celebrating our employees by having drawings for prizes throughout the first day back. Businesses, organizations, and individuals wishing to donate gift items, gift cards, or merchandise will need to do so by Friday, July 28th. Items can be brought to the administration office or dropped off at the high school office.
Thank you for supporting the Bobcat staff! We appreciate you! (Contact Tammi Davis for more information at tdavis@bobcat.k12.ar.us or call 479-738-7661.)

Let’s welcome our new Intermediate School nurse, Gerri Stuppy!
Mrs. Stuppy is originally from Golden, Missouri, and she loves to grow a garden and can produce. She has been married to her husband, Adam, for 12 years, and they have three children, Bryce, Jessie, and Zona. Their family loves living and working on a farm together. Mrs. Stuppy enjoys coaching her kids in sports, teaching Sunday school, hiking, hunting, and spending time on the lake.
“I decided to be a nurse because I want to help people and hopefully make an impact on their life. I love nursing because of the vast opportunities we are given to use our degree. After spending my entire career in the emergency department, I am excited to start this new adventure as a school nurse.”
Welcome to Berryville, Gerri!

Please help us welcome Rose Guhr to the Bobcat staff! Mrs. Guhr was born and raised in Berryville where she attended Kindergarten through twelfth grade. She begins her eighth year as a teacher, coming to us from Oklahoma, and will teach third grade. Mrs. Guhr has been married for 18 years and has three children who are already Bobcats! The Guhr family enjoys sports together and being outdoors.
“I like to travel, watch my kids participate in sports, watch movies, and spend time with my dogs. My top three favorite movies are Overboard, Stardust and Princess Bride. One of my favorite places that I’ve traveled to is Germany,” Mrs. Guhr said when asked about fun facts and hobbies she wanted to share. She chose education because “I want to make a positive impact on our next generation.” Welcome back to Berryville, Mrs. Guhr! We are glad you are here!

From Coach Curtis:
Just wanted to brag on these kids for the first part of summer! These guys (7-9th grade) have played a combined 40+ summer league games in just a few weeks against a variety of competition across the state! They have worked so hard and this week it paid off winning some hardware. Jr High went undefeated and won the Huntsville League as well as the Tournament Championship today! 7th and 8th grade also brought home some team hardware winning their Tournament Championship! I’m so extremely excited about these groups and have been a blast coaching them so far. The future is incredibly bright for Bobcat Basketball!
