GENERAL INFORMATION:
The traffic entrance and exits have changed for the
K-2 and 3-5 schools. All cars will enter
on Boyer Av. which will be one-way traffic only. There will be a lane for K-2 on the left and
a lane for 3-5 on the right. All traffic
will exit through the K-2 Parking Lot and exit at the stoplight on
Parents are reminded…the doors open at
K-2 Car Rider Parents:
In order to keep our students
safe, please pick up a car rider tag.
Hang the tag on the rear view mirror in your car. Remain in your vehicle until child is sent to
your car. Thank you!
Inclement weather:
To assure you are aware of any
cancellations ALWAYS listen to the Radio (KTHS) Station, Springfield, Missouri
T.V. Stations during inclement weather conditions. The Radio station will announce ALL Early
Dismissals due to the weather, and they will also announce when school resumes
after cancellations.
All outside doors, except the main doors to the
office, should be kept locked for safety
purposes. Students should be taught NOT to open the
doors for an adult (other than a teacher or principal they know). All visitors should check in at the office
and pick up a visitor’s badge to wear.
TYSON A+ Program ~ Fifth Grade Teachers are collecting proof of purchase labels from Tyson
products for the Tyson A+ program. Each
label is worth 24 cents. Money will go
toward expenses for the ONSC, annual fifth grade over-night field trip. Please turn labels in to the Intermediate
School Office.
BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION ~ We are still collecting “Box Tops for Education” coupons
(found on most General Mills products).
Please send them to the Elementary Office.
