Request for Proposal (2007.05.23) Berryville School District 27 PO Box 408 215 Ferguson St. Berryville, Arkansas 72616 Phone: 870.423.7065 Fax: 870.423.6824 Notice to prospective venders: The Berryville Public School District will be accepting proposals to provide computers to the District on a 3-year lease agreement. The minimum requirements for each computer are listed below. Each vender should include in the proposal a specifications list. The District will consider proposals for leasing 180 computers with one proposal for 160 computers and another proposal for 20 computers. Since this request for proposal includes leasing computers rather than purchasing, the successful vender will include a cost factor for the computers at the end of the 3-year lease period that will be deducted from the lease cost. Each vender should include in the proposal warranty work resolution within 24 hours of request call. Resolution will be defined as EITHER repair or replacement of defective part/damaged part within 24 hours of first telephone call and will result in a working computer. Since Arkansas School Districts are considered to be annually funded, the successful vender will include in the contract an annual opportunity for the District to void the contract if funding is not available to continue the agreement.
